This Bordeaux, a cuvée from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, has a bright purple color dress with violet shimmer. 

The nose notes fruity, ripe aromas of cassis, cherry and fine spices. 

On the palate, it is well structured and harmonious with a wonderful fruit of red and dark fruits. 

This is accompanied by discreet notes of some pepper, green pepper and sweet liquorice. Traditional and velvety-soft, it ends in a wonderful fruity and very long finish. 

The vineyards of the Château de Laborde de Viaud are situated on the slopes between the famous Saint-Émilion and Bergerac regions. 

This historic wine region not only enjoys the view of the Gironde, but is also known for the best soil for Merlot grapes. The rich clay soil has the best qualities to grow rich and aromatic grapes. True to the motto "small, but fine", the Ginelli family has had this vineyard with only five hectares of vineyard and a low density for many generations. 

Above all, the passion and devotion of the winemaker Pierre Ginelli drives him to produce delicious Bordeaux wines from the average 30-year-old vines. 

These vines have the optimal age to produce grapes with a wonderful fruit concentration and color. In addition, the wines are matured in stainless steel tanks to preserve the original fruit character of the wine in its greatest fullness. 

As early as 2011, the 2010 vintage was awarded with gold at the Concours Général Agricole competition in Paris.
